Mānoa Heritage Center

Tours are by reservation only with an 10 person maximum capacity for each time slot. Thank you for your understanding.

We are happy to welcome the community by offering tours of our gardens for up to 10 guests (max).

Tours include a pleasant 60-90 minute outdoor guided walk through gardens of Native Hawaiian and Polynesian introduced plants; broad views of Mānoa Valley; a close look at Kūkaʻōʻō Heiau, (an ancient Hawaiian sacred agricultural temple) as well as the history of Kūaliʻi, the Cooke family home, now part of Mānoa Heritage Center. 

Please browse our event calendar (above) for available times and dates to reserve a tour.  Tours will be offered on selected weekday afternoons and one Saturday a month.

* With at least 24 hours’ notice, we can provide a refund for public tours. We are not able to refund or reschedule no-shows.

Tour Type

Docent-led guided tours of the gardens and heiau are by reservation only and offered on selected weekday afternoons and one Saturday morning a month.   

Tour Size

There is an 10 person maximum capacity for each time slot.

Tour Length

Guided tour lasts between 60-90 minutes. Kindly check-in no more than 5 minutes before tour.

Parking

Limited parking is available on-site. Please carpool and contact us if your group will exceed 4 cars.

Outdoor Tour

The path is rocky with limited hand-rail support. Please bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle. Please also bring a paper or cloth mask for all participants.
