About the Speaker

Kapono Aluli Souza is a Lomilomi Practitioner and Medical Massage Therapist (MMT) with more than 20 years of experience. Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, he comes from a long line of healing, music, and art practitioners. At a very young age, his tutu wahine (grandmother) shared the art of lomilomi with him, traditional ʻike (knowledge) which he now shares with a new generation of students.

As one of Hawaiʻi’s most innovative marital bodyworkers, Kapono’s holistic and evidence-based approach to wellness helps patients achieve positive outcomes to chronic and acute conditions while substantially improving their quality of life.  With a thriving practice, Kapono teaches workshops in Hawaiʻi and the continental U.S. with additional online workshops and training launching in Summer 2021.
