Intro to Papa Hoʻōla Music and Cultural Arts

Join Kumu Kau‘i Mead for an engaging and enriching hour of Ho‘ōla Music and Cultural Arts!

This introduction will focus on the value of Aloha including mo‘olelo and learning the song Island Style/‘Ōiwi E. Students will also learn the history of the ʻukulele and the C chord progression. Students will need to bring a ʻukulele, if possible (there’s a limited number of ʻukulele available to borrow), and a notebook.
