Kaula Hau

Join us for a special ma ka hana ka ʻike workshop in conjunction with Kahu Lokoʻolu Quintero’s Hoʻomau I ka Mālama I Na Iwi Kūpuna project. Learn about this important plant resource and how to process soaked fiber into kaula (cordage) hau.

*All material made during this community-based workshop will be donated to the Hoʻomau I ka Mālama I Na Iwi Kūpuna project. Due to the importance of the materials made in this workshop, women who are menstruating may not participate.

Limited to 20 participants
